Uses for Old Doors
Photo Propety of TulaRose
We have accumulated a couple of large antique doors from our relatives as well as a small one in which I turned into a chalkboard:
I added a cone planter to hold the chalk and decorated with a large key at the top. It has been a big hit so far. I love to put the "carte du jour" up when we have company!
I used one out of the two big doors for an outside dining area!
I can't wait to use it! I haven't yet because of the terrible thunderstorms in Oklahoma. It's been way too wet. I made the chandelier under $9.00 following this tutorial from Dollar Store Crafts!
This door still had the original beautiful glass knob attached. I got Topher to take it off and I put it on my new shelves!
Isn't it beautiful!
(Speaking of which, have I shown you guys my shelves yet?!)
Bare wood to...
I still have one more door I am not sure what I want to do with yet.
It still has it's knob as well...
I was thinking of a desk/buffet for the backyard. Maybe something like this?
Isn't that beautiful?!

It's not exactly a door but It is my inspiration of making something close to it! Maybe I'll have Topher Build a couple of sawhorses to put under and call it done?
Or into a headboard?
